Christine Johnson

Christine Johnson graduated with her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to commencing her legal studies, she received a combined honours Bachelor of Arts degree in International Development Studies and English from Dalhousie University. While at law school, Christine was very active with extracurricular activities, co-founding the Osgoode Women's Network, serving as event coordinator of Women's Caucus and secretary of JustLaw, and volunteering as a workshop coordinator for LEAF's Equality at Work program. She was awarded a McCarthy Tétrault Leadership Award for her involvement at Osgoode. Christine also spent a semester in the Worker's Rights Division of Parkdale Community Legal Services, where she had the opportunity to represent clients in employment and human rights law matters. Additionally, she spent a summer working as a student for a small feminist law firm in Ottawa and last year held a position as a research assistant for a professor focused on developing a more race- and gender-inclusive model of corporate governance.

Christine is passionate about equality rights, workers' rights, and the protection of civil liberties. She is delighted to be articling with Champ & Associates.
